...a Message from our President--
12/12/2016 - Hammock Dunes successfully weathered Hurricane Matthew, and our Premier Oceanfront Golf Community remains the "Best Place to Live and Play"! The HDOA's pre-Matthew beach dunes investments, including sand fencing, dune planting and fertilization, paid off. The beach dunes did their job and protected the Hammock Dunes community from Matthew storm-surge flooding and damage sustained by other communities along the coast.
The HDOA has developed a dune restoration plan and is aggressively engaging Flagler County and Florida State agencies and political leaders to help expedite the necessary restoration permits. Our goal is to complete the restoration project of "nature's" valuable defensive dunes before turtle nesting season begins in May 2017.
Our objective is for all owners and prospective buyers to continue to have the utmost confidence that Hammock Dunes is the "Best Place to Live and Play".
